“There is a place on the other side of the world that cannot be explained or understood. It is a wonderful place that the imaginary things call home. It is called THE IMAGINARIUM.”

~ Percy Maelock

If you are looking for proof that Percy Maelock is not just a liar but a deeply delusional one, you’ve come to the right place. Reading these stories, you may think Percy Maelock has a future ahead of him as a fantasy novelist. Sadly, it is my not-so-humble opinion that he actually believes in these many impossible things. Even if it is all bravado meant to dazzle us, it does not change the fact that Percy has gone through great lengths to try and convince many people of his supposedly legendary exploits with imaginary friends, mythical monsters, unseen worlds, and the undeniably ridiculous.

As it should be with all things related to Percy Maelock, it is important to remember that he is a liar. But if you were to listen to him - which most qualified experts would highly recommend you do not - then he would have you believe that there is an invisible world that exists beside our own. A world that is deeply felt but very rarely seen. One where legends and fairytales and all manner of impossible and imaginative things run wild.

These many fantastical and obnoxiously impossible stories all came directly from Percy Maelock in the form of first-hand tellings, recovered notes and blatantly fabricated research, or letters and postcards he’s placed in the mail. However, thanks to the hard work and enthusiastic dedication of Mr. Barrett ‘Lassie’ Lassiter, many have been given a polished and written with a more satisfying literary flare for the enjoyment of the reader.

DISCLAIMER: It is important to note that while Percy Maelock may pretend that these fantastical stories come after hard-earned research and extensive travel, those of us who have helped to compile this anthology of his many fantasies do not share that obnoxious opinion. We are quite confident that these are fictional stories and nothing more, albeit it entertaining ones at that.
